Kiss me, I'm stylish!

Ok, so Kaydee was supposed to say "Kiss me, I'm Irish" since it was St. Paddy's day.  Instead, Sydnee said "Kiss me, I'm stylish!"  Lol.
The weather was so nice last week that we spent tons of time outside.  The kids (and Bosco) loved it!  We went for lots of walks and played in our yard and the older girls rode bikes a lot.  We also got new neighbors and they have 2 little boys and my kids love them.  So they've had fun running back and forth between our house and theirs.
I did have a somewhat scary experience though... Jeff had gotten some boxes down in the garage and Sydnee and Kaydee found buckets of seashells from Bear lake last year.  They were playing with them outside.  Well we went for a walk and a boy from Sydnee's class said hi and then got his bike so he could ride with them.  I went inside and pretty soon Emery went home and my kids came in.  Well, Sydnee realized she left her seashells outside, so she went out to get them.  She was gone for like 5 minutes but I figured she was just out there playing with them.  All the sudden she barged in the house bawling that her seashells were gone, she talked to a stranger, the stranger told her that he had some pretty seashells at his house for her, and she said she just told him she was going home.  I was horrified.  I thought someone was trying to lure her in.  Long story short, I took her outside and asked where this happened and pretty soon our neighbor across the street came out and said "Is that the seashell girl?"  He handed her a bunch of nice shells.  I guess he just saw her crying and felt bad, but he's actually a nice guy.  But now my kids are only allowed to play in the back yard unless I'm with them.  That was just too scary for me!
I got Sydnee registered for first grade, and Kaydee for kindergarten!  Kaydee had to have a little evaluation and I was so impressed.  When we were walking out I told her how good she did and that she read so well.  She goes "I guess I'm just really really smart.... And fast..... And strong.... And cute.... And sweet."   She's right, but it still made me laugh!
