R.I.P Bean :(

We lost our little Bean today. We all will miss him and we love him so much. I know he was greeted in heaven by Fenwick and Joey and he's happy and free of pain now.
Don't think of him as gone away;
His journey's just begun.
Life holds so many facets;
This earth is only one.
Just think of him as resting;
From the sorrows and the tears.
In a place of warmth and comfort;
Where there are no days and years.
Think how he must be wishing,
That we could know today
How nothing but our sadness
Can really pass away.
And think of him as living,
In the hearts of those he touched.
For nothing loved is ever lost
And he was loved so much.
We love you Bean dog!!!

Randoms..

Green pancakes for St.Patricks day.

Crazy hair day at school!
We've battled a stomach bug here for the last couple weeks. I think it's finally out of our house (knock on wood!) The girls also got to have crazy hair day at school last week. They had fun with that. On St.Patricks day we did the usual green shamrock pancakes for breakfast and they of course dressed in green.
Sydnee is all registered for kindergarten. I took her last friday and we gave them all our paperwork and a teacher did a little evaluation on her (which she knew everything but how to read the sentence they showed her). Then we went and looked at a kindergarten room and it hit me hard that my baby is going to be in that huge class with all those kids and all on her own. I think it will be harder for me than her. I let her play on the playground before we left and she really loved that. She's very excited to start in about 4 months.
Maycee has learned to go up the stairs and is also working on her 6th tooth. Crazy how fast she is growing up!
Kaydee has the biggest imagination. She now made up a naughty little guy she calls "Bygie". I think it's because we call her Buggy. Ha ha. So she's always telling me that Bygie is doing naughty things and that he is a bad boy. It's so funny. Like she wanted over the gate and I told her to wait a second so she said "well Bygie is going to climb over the gate. See! He climbed over and he didn't crack his head!" Like I'm going to let her do that since Bygie did. She is so funny.
This morning Kaydee was playing dress up and she put on a dr coat and said she was Dr. Seuss. It made me laugh.
Sydnee is the PICKIEST eater on the planet. If we can get her to try anything new, she will put it in her mouth, instantly gag and then throw up. She doesn't eat meat, fruit, or veggies. She likes strictly carbs. It's so hard. But last night we were having hot dogs and I told her if she would have 5 bites then we would go get her some ice cream. She wanted to, but just kept staring at it and then would pick it up and chicken out and tell us no ice cream. Finally Jeff had an idea to sandwich a piece of hotdog between cheetos and asked her if she wanted to eat it that way. So she did it! She ate her 5 bites. It is a small step, but a victory none the less. Even better, she wanted hot dog with cheetos for lunch today :) I'm sure she wouldn't sit down and eat a hot dog, but it's a step in the right direction. Jeff took her to get ice cream and on the way there she was singing along to her music and suddenly stopped, and this is how the conversation went.
S: "Daddy, you're a loser."
J: "WHAT?"
S: "You're a loser. You lose at everything. You lose at Sequence, you lose at Candy Land, you lose at the Ladybug game. You are a loser."
J: "Well yeah, I guess I do."
S: "Say thank you."
J: "Thank you, Sydnee."
S: "You're welcome."

Fun Weekend!

Happy 2nd birthday Madison!

Maycee danced and clapped and kicked her feet during Disney on Ice. She loved it!

Spaghetti face!

This weekend was such a blast. First on friday we went to what the girls call 'grandma's new McDonalds' which is the one in centerville. We went to play and have dinner with Maddie for her birthday. We had cupcakes and then headed home. Jeff had to work late and just met us there, and Kaydee had left her bear in my car. The older 2 rode home with daddy and I guess as soon as I drove off Kaydee realized she didn't have bear and freaked out. Poor Jeff didn't have such a fun ride home. Then on Saturday we went to Classic fun center for Madison's birthday party. It was soooo fun. We couldn't believe the change in Sydnee. She used to be so afraid of things, and she was just climbing up in the bouncy toys and going down the slide without hesitation. The girls got to go roller skating for the first time too. Kaydee was funny. Someone always had to hold onto her but her legs would just go wherever, like in front of her, behind her, criss cross, everywhere. Sydnee on the other hand let me hold her hand for about 2 minutes and then shook me off because she wanted to do it herself. My dad even got on roller skates. He fell a couple times, it was hysterical. I wish I would have remembered my camera that day :(
After the party, Jeff had to go into work so we played outside and I took the kids for a long walk. We are loving the 60 degree weather. Then on sunday we went to see Disney on Ice. It was the Toy Story show. It was awesome. All the kids loved it and had fun. Afterwards we went and played at the park and then went to Applebees for dinner. I was sad that the weekend ended and even sadder that Jeff will probably not be getting any days off anytime soon. Lagoon is opening earlier than ever this year and they have TONS to do still. The girls harrass Jeff every day and ask him if their favorite rides are up and running yet. They can't wait to go.
This friday is kindergarten registration! I can't believe it. I know Sydnee will love it and going to school 5 days a week will be good for her. She loves learning and always wants to know more.
Maycee's skin has turned a strange orangish/yellow. I'm thinking it has to be from too much orange baby food, because her eyes are bright white. So I've bought all green baby food to see if she turns white again. I remember Jeff's mom telling us that he turned orange as a baby. Maybe it runs in the family ;)
A couple funnies...
At Applebees I took Kaydee potty and then a bit later she goes up to Jeff and yells "I need to go poop!" I was a little embarrassed. Well Jeff took her and came back pretty quick and you could tell he was annoyed. He then tells me "Kaydee didn't need to go. BEAR did!" She dragged him all the way to the bathroom and then only put bear on the toilet.
Another thing she said that was shocking and so funny (but not something you exactly want your kids to say) was she was sitting with her back turned to me and Sydnee just playing. Sydnee had just gone potty but acted like she needed to go again. So I asked if she needed to go potty and Kaydee, without missing a beat, back still turned to us says "Does she need to take a freaking poop?" Oh my. We tried not to laugh. We really, really tried.
Gotta love these kids!

Parent day at preschool.

Yesterday we got to go to preschool and see a couple things that the kids have been learning.  I posted some videos, but they were taken from our phones so not the best.  The kids were all so cute and did so well.  It was fun to see.  We also got to make an art project with them.  Jeff and Kaydee made a nest with eggs in it and me and Sydnee made a journal with her picture on the front and she got to stick foam letters on it to spell her name.  They also gave us progress reports and they are both doing awesome!  One lady told Jeff that Kaydee is so cute she just wants to grab her and take her and wrap her up in a box with a bow.  Wow.  Thanks??

We are gearing up for a fun weekend.  Birthday party at Classic fun center for Madison on saturday and then hopefully Disney on Ice on sunday.  I'm sure I'll have pictures afterwards!

Picture post!

School pictures. Thanks for smiling Sydnee!
Poor Kaydee kept bruising her face before pictures. She's a monkey.
Watching the snow start to fall.
Her big sisters gave her some of their ice cream cones. She was in heaven!

This is how most of our pictures turn out. Ha ha ha.

Kaydee got a little build a bear kit for Valentines. She was so excited that she made this!
I'm excited for the weekend. We ordered a couch and loveseat a couple weeks ago and they will finally be ready for pickup on saturday. Yes I'm a freak and I get excited about furniture. The girls actually loved shopping for it but were mad that we weren't bringing home a new couch that day. Jeff put the stroller in the trunk and when he slammed it shut it bumped the back of Sydnee's seat. She yells "was that the couch daddy put in our car??" She was sorely dissappointed.
Next wednesday is parent day at preschool, so they do a little program of things they've learned. Jeff is watching Kaydee's and I am watching Sydnee's. Hopefully Kaydee will actually perform, because last time she just stared at me. I'll try and get some videos to share.
